La Casa Grande de Trives is at P. de Trives (Puebla de Trives / Pobra de Trives / Poboa de Trives), a small mountain town (1.500 inhabitans) located 17 km from the Ski Resort (Estación de Esquí de Manzaneda) and equidistant between the cities of Orense and Ponferrada highway or state road C-536 (on older maps it will be refered to as N-120)   

How to arrive to P. de Trives:

From Orense/Ourense: 69 Km. by C-536 (old N-120), direction A Derrasa y Castro Caldelas). Don't take new N-120 direction Monforte because is double number of kilometers and worst road at the last section)

From  Madrid and León: Take the motorway Autovía del Noroeste ( A-6) until you get exit number 400, next direction Monforte de Lemos, N-120 until kilometer number 468 and then direction A Rua, Trives; at the trafic lights on the right direction, C-536

From Vigo and Porto: Exit number 233 from motorway A-52 to Orense. At Ourense take road C-536 directión A Derrasa, Esgos and P. De Trives (Don’t take N-120 to Monforte de Lemos, because is double number of kilometers and worst road at the last kilometers)

From Santiago: Take direction Ourense – Lalín by motorway A-53 until you get to Silleda. Next take the main road (N-525) to Orense/Ourense. When you arrive to Orense  by N-525, take direction Ourense-Este, cross the bridge and then direction Ourense-Este, after about 2 km, on the rigt direction "Velle, A Lonia", next direction "A Lonia", and Ourense, when you arrive to the traffic circle on the left by C-536. In some crossroads there is also roadsign "Terras de Trives C-536", but be careful, unfortunately not in all necessary crossroads. If you have problems to find de correct way, don't hesitate call us for aditional indications.

Note: If you arrive directly from Santiago Airport, the best way to take motorway A-53 is: from Airport go by motorway direction Santiago until you arrive near Santiago and see at the trafic circle roadsign indicating motorway A-9 direction Pontevedra – Vigo, take motorway A-9, and after 5 km Exit number 72 direction Ourense – Lalín and next by motorway  A-53
